Route

British Columbia
  • We will work our way east out of Vancouver and head for the Lougheed Hwy.(#7).
  • We'll follow #7 all the way into Hope
  • From there we'll head NE on Coquihalla Hwy(#5) to Merrit On the advice of the man at the tourist information center in Hope we decided to go North out of Hope on #1 Trans Canada. We took that all the way to Kamloops
  • There we will split off of #5 and onto Princeton-Kamloops Hwy
  • Just after Shumway Lake we will turn right onto Campbell Creek Rd.
  • This brings us into Barnhartvale where we turn right on Barnhartvale Rd
  • Then in ~4km we turn left onto and unnamed road which brings us to the Trans Canada Hwy.
  • We then follow the Trans Canada through Revelstoke, Golden, then into Yoho National Park which brings us to Alberta.
 Alberta
  • The Trans Canada will bring us through Banff then into Calgary
  • We'll probably head south around Calgary and then meet back up with the Trans Canada in GleichenWe took the easy way out and took the Trans Canada right through Calgary. It was alot faster but traffic was pretty bad. In hindsight a little extra time on less traveled roads may have been more enjoyable.
  • Then we just follow the Trans Canada through Brooks and Medicine Hat and then into Sasketchewan
 Saskatchewan
  • Rather boringly we follow the Trans Canada Hwy straight across and into Manitoba
Manitoba
  • We, again, will follow the Trans Canada Hwy
  • In Winnipeg we'll probably head south and skirt the city to avoid traffic
  • Then we'll meet back up with the Trans Canada and take it right into Ontario
Ontario
  • The only highway into Ontario is the [supposedly] treacherous #17. We'll follow this until it ends at highway 11(Alternatively we'll take 71 south to the 11).
  • We'll take the 11 through Thunder Bay
  • Then head east on the 17 through Sault St Marie and Sudbury
  • In North Bay we'll head south on the 11 to Chris's cottage for some R&R.
  • Next we'll head South on the 11 and East on the 60 through Algonquin park.
  • From here we're heading to Ottawa on a TBD'd route
Quebec
  •  TBD
New Brunswick
  •
PEI(Maybe)
Nova Scotia

Newfoundland(Maybe)
